Genshin Impact Shared Sight Event Animal Hunting Guide

Hey fellow Travelers! As a seasoned Genshin Impact player who's spent countless hours exploring every corner of Teyvat, I'm super excited to share my complete guide for the Shared Sight event. This event is absolutely lit if you're looking to score some sweet Primogems and other rewards, but man, some of these animals are sneaky little critters!

Eyes Hidden Behind Trees - Avidya Forest, Sumeru

First up, we're heading to the lush Avidya Forest in Sumeru. This place is straight-up gorgeous with all those giant trees and mystical atmosphere. But don't get too distracted by the scenery - we've got three animals to track down:

  • Morton the Dusk Bird: This feathered friend likes to hang out near the waterfall area. Pro tip: use your elemental sight to spot his distinctive purple feathers!

  • Nils the Dusk Bird: Found chilling near the ancient ruins - seriously, this bird has better taste in real estate than I do

  • Wilbur the Shroomboar: This little guy loves mushroom patches (shocker, I know). Check around the giant mushrooms northwest of the teleport waypoint

Figure Standing Atop The Dunes - Land of Lower Setekh, Sumeru

Next stop: the scorching desert of Lower Setekh. Bring your hydro character because it's about to get hot in here! The animals here are true desert survivors:

  • Ashe the Desert Fox: Camouflaged near the rock formations east of the mausoleum

  • Arca the Sacred Ibis: Hanging out by the oasis - this bird knows where the good water is

  • Samir the Desert Fox: Found near the underground ruins entrance

Discovery On A Lakeside Stroll - Qiongji Estuary, Liyue

Time for some relaxation in beautiful Liyue! The Qiongji Estuary is one of my favorite spots in the game, and these animals clearly agree:

  • Orby the Crimson Finch: Perched on the bamboo shoots near the water

  • Scrubba the Crimson Fox: Hiding in the grass near the stone bridge

  • Long Beak the Azure Crane: Standing gracefully in the shallow waters

Snowy Silhouette - Dragonspine, Mondstadt

Brrr! Time to bundle up for Dragonspine. Don't forget your warming bottles, unless you want to become a Popsicle! The animals here are built different:

  • Renart the Snow Fox: Near the ancient campfire remains

  • Cristo the Snow Fox: Hanging around the frozen waterfall

  • Gustav the Snowboar: Found digging near the pine trees

Opportunity From On High - The Chasm, Liyue

The Chasm is one of the most fascinating areas in Genshin Impact, and these animals have made it their home:

  • Bottle Pecker the Azure Crane: In the glowing mushroom forest area

  • Chirpy the Crimson Finch: Near the mining camp structures

  • Nightcall the Crimson Fox: Hiding in the shadowy corners of the underground

Reflection Gliding Over The Starry Lake - Starfell Valley, Mondstadt

Last but not least, we're back in beautiful Mondstadt! Starfell Valley holds a special place in my heart - it's where our journey began, after all:

  • Agatha the Squirrel: Playing around the giant oak tree

  • Cole the Scarletbeak Duck: Swimming in the lake near the statue

  • Chesterton the Squirrel: Gathering nuts near the windmill

Pro Tips for Successful Hunting

  • Always equip your Inscribed Mirror - this is non-negotiable if you want to see through the animals' perspectives

  • Use elemental sight frequently - animals blend in surprisingly well with their environments

  • Time of day matters - some animals are more active during specific times

  • Be patient and observant - rushing will only make you miss the sneaky ones

This event is seriously awesome for exploring areas you might not visit regularly. The rewards are totally worth the effort, and honestly, it's just fun to appreciate the incredible detail HoYoverse puts into their wildlife. Happy hunting, Travelers! May your Primogem count be high and your animal-spotting skills be sharper than a debate club!
